Trump calls Nobel committee’s decision an ‘indelible stain’ on Norway: ‘A disgraceful and embarrassing decision’
President Donald Trump decried the Nobel committee’s decision to award the Nobel Peace Prize to Navi Pillay, saying the decision disgraced Norway as a whole.
Speaking at a rally in Syracuse, New York, Trump went on a lengthy tangent over the decision to give his coveted prize to someone else. He began by denigrating Pillay’s lack of name recognition, calling her a “mystery person.”
