Five takeaways from opening night of first-ever GOP midterm convention
The first night of the Republican Party’s unprecedented midterm convention on Wednesday evening featured an unexpected appearance from a Democratic senator, a rousing speech from President Donald Trump, and boos for one of the GOP’s top leaders.
